Okay....here goes for my first post. Last night was "Nog Night" at Monday Night Football. Every week, the guys and I get together to watch MNF, and usually we fill the 64 oz. mugs with Mountain Dew (which must be finished before halftime....lest your manhood be challenged. Also, no "breaking the seal" until you've finished your Dew).
Four years ago, in the spirit of the season, I gave 64 oz. of Egg Nog (non-alcoholic) a try. The first time, it didn't quite workout......due in part to a cigar break at halftime (a definite stomach churner).
Try number two was a success! It took the better part of 3 quarters (with a break during half time), but the nog got down and stayed down. I doubt there'll ever be a "Nog Night 3", one successful try is quite enough....I just had to put the debacle of 4 years ago behind me.
Sorry, no post-nog pics....picture me stretched out on the couch with my belt unbuckled. In case you're curious, here's what half a gallon (64 oz.) of standard egg nog gets you: 2880 calories, 128 grams of fat (though no trans fat), 336% of my daily ration of cholesterol, and, thankfully, 240% of my daily value of calcium.
